How does Blue Light work?
The human skin stashes an oily matter called sebum, to lubricate your skin and hair. An excessive amount of sebum on your skin can clog your pores. The bacteria in these clogged pores accumulates, which leads to infections, redness and swelling of the skin.
The reason for the increased production of sebum has to do with an imbalance in your hormones. This imbalance triggers the creation of acne. Acne can, therefore, occur during puberty, pregnancy, menopause, or when taking medication.
The Dr. Müller Blue Skin Light lamps emit blue light at a wavelength of 415 nanometres. Blue light at this wavelength helps the skin to reduce its production of sebum and kills bacteria-causing infections. The result is a smoother skin, a more beautiful appearance and a higher self-esteem.

Benefits Blue Skin Light against influenza (cold and flu)
Mechanisms and applications of the anti-inflammatory effects of photobiomodulation
The study shows that green and blue light can activate NF-kB in normal quiescent cells, however in activated inflammatory cells, inflammatory markers were decreased. One of the most reproducible effects of PBM is an overall reduction in inflammation, which is particularly important for disorders of the joints, traumatic injuries, lung disorders, and in the brain | Read More
