Collagenic Light

How does Red Light work?
Dr Muller Collagenic LightCollagen is a human protein made by fibroblast cells in the dermis layer of the skin. It is responsible for the optical tightness, elasticity, suppleness and brightening of the skin. Several studies indicate that during the ageing process the skin loses its ability to produce collagen. As a result, fine lines and wrinkles start to become less visible.

The Dr. Müller Collagenic Light lamps emit red light at a wavelength of 633 nanometres. Collagenic Light helps the skin to increase its production of collagen and elastin. The result is a firm skin with reduced lines, a younger appearance and healthier look.

benefits collagenic light

Renewal of Collagen and Elastin Fibres
Collagenic light reaches the deepest layer of the skin, the dermis layer, and this is the place where the production of the collagen protein takes place. Here the production of the collagen protein is activated. More collagen and elastin protein is made, which will give your skin a boost in its structural support.

Makes Your Skin Soft and Tight
Research reports that your skin feels softer after taking sessions with collagen light. In the assessment of the overall tone, softness, smoothness, clarity and firmness of the skin in the treatment area, improvements in all these elements were reported.

Increases muscle recovery
Collagenic light and its warmth have a favourable impact on connective and skeletal muscle tissue damage after a workout. On top of that, collagenic light enhances stress resilience following intense resistance exercise.

Stimulates Blood Circulation
Collagenic light increases oxygenation and detoxification in our skin, mainly due to the energy that is transferred via our skin cells. Studies prove that this also leads to a better blood circulation. As a result of relaxing the blood vessels in the treated areas, allowing the blood to flow more easily.
